Day 1

Arrival in Beijing

You will be warmly welcomed by our guide at Beijing Capital International Airport. Then our guide will transfer you to the hotel for check in. Enjoy yourself for the remainder of the day and have a good rest. And in the next 12Days you will have chance to visit Yangtze Cruise, Chengdu with lovely Pandas.Enjoy your incredible China trip.

Day 2

Beijing

Today your Beijing exploration will begin with a visit to Tiananmen Square. As the largest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square can hold over one million people. This famous monument with its historical significance is often considered as a national symbol in China.
Next we will proceed to visit Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also called Imperial Museum, was the imperial palace for emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the best-preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. You will appreciate its magnificence of royal architectures and imperial treasures when visiting the Forbidden City.
Then we will have a stop at a pearl shop before our next destination. After that our guide will bring you to have a great time by rickshaw riding at Hutong Area. Hutongs are alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan, which are the traditional courtyard residences. As an important cultural element of old Beijing, Hutongs are popular places for people to get to know Beijing local culture and life. A rickshaw riding among Hutongs is just the way to get deep into the local culture and life in Hutongs.
Then we will continue to visit the spectacular of Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing, which was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest. You will admire its grand size of architectures and profound cultural connotation when visiting the Temple of Heaven.
Afterwards, we will enjoy an amazing Kungfu Show at Red Theater. This should a great chance to learn about China’s unique Kungfu culture.
After the show, our guide will bring you back to hotel.

Day 3

Beijing

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8:30AM. For this tour, we will have an excursion to the Badaling Great Wall at first. Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Badaling Great Wall is the most well-preserved and the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. As a symbol of Chinese civilization and one of the wonders created by Chinese people, Badaling Great Wall is a must-visit attraction in Beijing.
Next we will move to visit Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs, also known as the Thirteen Tombs of Ming Dynasty, is a collection of imperial mausoleums built by Ming Dynasty emperors. The site of Ming Tombs is located in Changping District of Beijing and is 42 kilometers from the city center. The siting of these tombs was chosen according to Chinese Feng Shui principles, and the construction of these tombs fully demonstrated the classic style of traditional mausoleum. We will explore the Changling Tomb, which is the largest and best preserved one among the 13 tombs.
At last, we will go to have a visit at Beijing Olympic Stadium for the admiration of its splendid exterior. Beijing Olympic Stadium is also known as Bird’s Nest. Used to be the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, now the stadium acts as the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. It attracts people by its unique design and humanistic architecture. You will have time to take some fantastic pictures there.

Day 4

Beijing to Xian

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will bring you to visit 798 Art District. As a leading concentration of contemporary art galleries, 798 Art District is where to discover unique Chinese modern culture and art at its specialized art shops and exhibitions.
Next we will move to have a visit at Beijing Olympic Stadium. The Beijing Olympic Stadium is also known as Bird’s Nest. It used to be the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, now the stadium acts as the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. Its unique design and humanistic architecture will surely capture your eyes and camera. Afterwards, our guide will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Xian. When you arrived in Xian, our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Day 5

Xian

Your Xian historic exploration will begin with a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. It is known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Those artifacts of numerous life size terracotta figures of warriors and horses with different features, facial expressions, clothing and hairstyles arranged in battle formations provide live examples to study the military, cultural and economic of the period they were made.
Then we will have a stop at Pottery Factory near the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and you can choose some reproductions of terracotta warriors as souvenirs if you are interested.
After lunch, our guide will take you to visit the Shaanxi History Museum. It is China’s first large-scale modern national museum. With its large collection of culture relics, visiting the museum will be a great opportunity to learn more about Chinese history and culture.
Next we will head to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a famous Buddhist pagoda in Xian. Built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Big Wild Goose Pagoda is where to admire Buddhist Religion culture and its attractive architecture.
The Ancient City Wall will be scheduled as the last destination to visit today. It is a famous landmark in Xian. The City Wall is the largest and best preserved Ming Dynasty city wall. Visiting the City Wall, you can not only learn city construction and architectural arts in ancient times. Also you can get some good views of Xian city.
In the evening, you will enjoy the amazing Tang Dynasty Show. The show blending various ancient Chinese instruments and inspiring dances is dedicated to telling famous and interesting historical stories. Watching the show is a good way to know more about Chinese history and culture. After the show, our guide will take you back to the hotel.

Day 6

Xian-Chengdu by flight

After breakfast at hotel, and then transfer to airport to Chengdu.
Chengdu, a city full of leisure, is a wonderful place to taste the famous Sichuan cuisine, and also it is the home town of the cute pandas. So traveling here is quite different from any other cities in China. Today you will arrive in Chengdu. Our local guide will greet you at the airport and then escort you to the hotel with the private transfer. On the way to the hotel, the guide will give you some brief introduction to the city
Kuan Zhai Alley: Kuan Zhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alley) is one of the three conservation districts of historic sites of Chengdu City.
Jinli Street: Jinli Cultural Street is a winding cobblestone lane lined with replicas of Qing Dynasty mansions selling local tea, books, souvenirs, musical instruments and caricatures.

Chengdu-Chongqing by fast train and board the Cruise in the evening

Day 8

Yangtze River Cruise

Today morning you will visit Chengdu Resech Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals, you can see the cute panda there and know more about this animal. After Lunch take the fast train to Chongqing, arrive in Chongqing pick up and transfer to board the Cruise.

Day 9

Yangtze River Cruise

Today our ship will pass through Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge. This should be the most memorable part with stunning scenery along the Yangtze Cruise.
During the cruise, we will arrange a short excursion at Shennong Stream by boat. Shennong Stream includes threer gorges of Mianzhu Gorge, Parrot Gorge and Longcangdong Gorge. Deep and dangerous, steep and unusual, primitive and elegant, Shennong Stream stuns visitors with its stream, peaks, rocks, caves and shoals. An excursion on the Shennong Stream is the best way not only to enjoy the natural beauty and historic sites along the Shennong Stream, but also to experience the local culture and customs of the Tujia People.

Day 10

Arrival at Yichang to Shanghai

Today you will have the excursion to the Three Gorges Dam. The Three Gorges Dam is the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man. The Three Gorges Dam is located near Sandouping, which is in the middle of the Xiling Gorge. The Three Gorges Dam is 2,335 m long, 185 m high, 18 m wide on the top and 130 m wide at the bottom. The dam has raised the river to a level of 175 meters above sea level, creating a 600 kilometers long reservoir with storage capacity of 39.9 billion cubic meters extending from the dam site all the way to Chongqing.
Then our ship will arrive at Yichang and you will be disembarked from 11:30AM – 1:30PM. Our guide will pick you up at the port and escort you to the airport. You will take the flight to Shanghai. Upon you arrival in Shanghai, our local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check in.

Day 11

Shanghai

Today, your Shanghai sightseeing will begin with Yuyuan Garden. As a famous classical garden in Shanghai, Yuyuan Garden attracts people by its compact and exquisite layout, and natural features of rocks, pavilions, ornamental ponds and flower walls. You will get refreshed from the outside busy Shanghai at this tranquil and exquisite garden.
Then we will go to visit Chenghuang Temple. It is a famous Taoist Temple in Shanghai. The Chenghuang Temple attracts people by its unique design and also there are over a hundred stores and shops in this area. Most of these store buildings are nearly a century old.
Next we will arrange free strolling and shopping at Xintiandi. The Xintiandi is a popular shopping and entertainment center in Shanghai. You will appreciate the modern buildings and architectures of European styles along the street. Also you will find a lot of shops and stores of different styles selling various kinds of commodities.
A stop at Silk Factory will be arranged for the next activity. Then we will go forward the exploration at the Bund. As the most famous sightseeing destination in the city, the Bund has become a symbol of Shanghai and a must-go place for tourists. You will enjoy the fascinating views of Huangpu River and groups of architectures and skyscrapers.
Jade Buddha Temple will be scheduled as the last destination for today. The Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai. Though the temple is located in downtown area, it has quiet and quaint atmosphere. Its magnificent imitation architecture of Song Dynasty is a great charm to tourists.
After dinner, you will enjoy an exciting Acrobatic Show. After the show, our guide will bring you back to the hotel for a good rest.

Departure from Shanghai
